Bugs You Can Eat
Taken from 'Nova' on PBS: Master of the Killer Ants: The Mofu people of Cameroon rely on an unlikely ally - an army ant - to protect their homes and crops. Airs on PBS today at 8 PM.

A near taboo in the Western world, entomophagy (insect-eating) is still practiced by millions of people in traditional societies—and by us, a couple of gastronomically adventuresome Western journalists. It began simply enough with witchetty grubs in Australia, but before we knew it, we were caught. In this slide show, explore just a few of the stops on our journey to becoming gourmands of all things creepy-crawly.

This picture is little disgusting, though still some pupils are living like this having those insects or pests as their food everyday, but its really very harmful to health no one is realizing that. Thanks for such a terrific post!
