The Genius Parrot
'Extraordinary Animals' is a lighthearted documentary series profiles remarkable animals across the globe. This programme explores the case of Griffin – a parrot whose extraordinary cognitive skills have altered the scientific perception of avian intelligence.
Griffin is an amazing 12-year-old African grey parrot whose abilities are changing the way scientists think about birds. Dr Irene Pepperberg, a noted expert on avian communication, works closely with Griffin and other grey parrots at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has been teaching the birds to perform complex tasks of the kind previously thought to be exclusive to humans, great apes and monkeys. As well as being able to mimic human speech, Griffin can label objects, identify colours and shapes, and combine the words he has learned to form simple phrases.

Soothing Glimpses of Tokyo
I love Japan, this was my 5th time there. It was cold and raining at the start of April and it improved later on. So annoying filming in the rain with an umbrella but the camera survived.(so did I)Tokyo is amazing and I find new places to explore every time I'm there. There are lovely places to relax and other places that excite the senses!

Kelley Ryden Photography.
Without a doubt, newborns are my favorite age to photograph. My best days with my camera, are the days that I get to photograph a fresh newborn. This age can be the most difficult to photograph, but as a Mommy, the newborn images of my own give me the most joy. Remembering their tiny features, fuzzy hair, and all that is new about them, brings back those amazing memories of when we first met. These days should be captured and always remembered.
Beautiful, just beautiful!
