Mavericks: The Wave Beyond

According to Jeff Clark, "All through high school I focused on Mavericks, watching it from the shore or from Ross?s Cove to the north. I would sit on the cliff and watch for hours as it stood up and barreled over." In 1975, at the age of 17, Jeff decided to stop watching perfect unridden waves go by, and instead to start surfing them.

What drove him out there that day, and all the days thereafter, was a simple yet deep love for the ocean, a strong sense of exploration, and a remarkable bravery that has become legendary in the history of surfing.

Para-Cycle

image

My next hobby?

Since the beginning of time, mankind has yearned to fly like the birds ? becoming airborne in controlled flight, floating from place to place, and landing gently at the place of his choosing.

Now this vision of personal flight is a reality: the Para-Cycle. You pedal it like a bicycle on the ground ? you fly it through the air like a powered parachute.
