Panoramic Photographs

image

The Panoramic Photograph Collection contains approximately four thousand images featuring American cityscapes, landscapes, and group portraits. These panoramas offer an overview of the nation, its enterprises and its interests, with a focus on the start of the twentieth century when the panoramic photo format was at the height of its popularity.

The images date from 1851 to 1991 and depict scenes in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. More than twenty foreign countries and a few U.S. territories are also represented. These panoramas average between twenty-eight inches and six feet in length, with an average width of ten inches.

Rok2

Through the time I focused on various different types of style. I started with the very traditional graffiti-styles but I soon found out that I wanted to do something new. After this I dedicated myself to 3d- styles for some time which helped me quite a lot to increase my technics . By the time I also got bored of doing 3d-styles and again started to search for a new challenge.

image

Through the years I also visited a lot of other cities and countries where I left some signs. I have been for example to Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria?
So lay back and enjoy!

Dieses Game hat ein wenig Billard-Charakter. Mit der Leertaste Power geben, mit der Maus dem Ball die Richtung weisen und nicht zu weit wegziehen. Alles eliminieren.

Michael Kenna

Michael Kenna?s work is highly sought after throughout the world. His small, delicate prints are like jewels. Many of the photographs are time exposures made at night, producing a soft surreal effect.

Vor allem die Japan-Gallery hat es mir angetan.

Scott Saw

Scott Saw creates vibrant, energetic paintings where dreams and current surroundings cross-pollinate with childhood memories and subconscious interpretations of the afterlife. His work entangles birth, life and death and explores the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds. Saw's paintings have been regarded as romanticized gothic landscapes of nature, misfits and oddities.

Vintage Photographs ::: Pitbulls

Just walking down the street with an APBT on the leash is an interesting way to find out how many different types of pit bulls exist -- in people's minds. Some folks rush over to coo and praise; others hurry to the other side of the street to avoid close contact. Many just study the dog as it walks past - while drinking in a good long (often confused!) look at the person on the other end of the leash.

Metro Arts and Architecture

Subways need not be boring or dreary! Many operators of metros, subways or underground railways want to attract more passengers with good station design. This often means extra effort and higher costs for the metro operators but it seems to pay when a metro is more than only a means of traffic but something the population can be proud of.
Read below which metro systems double as the world's longest art galleries and in which cities you can see stunning underground palaces, museums, aquariums, an ancient chapel, the world's first example of computer-generated architecture and other kinds of interesting things in subway stations.
